Companies House has announced that obtaining a Companies House Personal Code via an identity verification process, will become a legal requirement for all company directors and people with significant control (PSCs) . All company directors and people with significant control (PSCs) whether they are UK residents or Non UK residents, will have to verify their identity to prove who they are.
As a registered Authorised Corporate Service Provider (ACSP) with Companies House, Icon Offices is officially authorised to request Companies House Personal Codes by carrying out identity verification checks on Companies’ Directors and Persons of Significant control, even if they are not our existing clients. The new Companies House Personal Codes will be essential for Directors and PSCs to update their details or file documents in the future. We usually complete the verification within 7 days of receiving your documents. However, on some occasions it can take more time if we have not received all the required and acceptable documents at once or where an additional check is required.
Once your identity is verified, you will receive your Companies House Personal Code to your registered email address.
Yes, we can verify multiple directors, PSCs from the same or different companies. However please note each person will be charged separately.
You can email us to ask for cancellation and refund. You have the right to cancel the service and receive a full refund within 7 days providing that no work has been done by us. If we have started work on your verification, then a discretionary fee may be refunded from your refund. Once your verification is completed with Companies House you cannot obtain a refund.
