Forming a company online in the UK has been made easier thanks to the company formation agents. Formation agents are independent firms that enable businesses to incorporate their companies seamlessly.

Here is a guide to forming your UK limited company through our website.
You can navigate to the company formation page through our website link which can be found either on our social media platforms or by searching for Icon Offices on your Google search to go to the main page or click the link below https://iconoffices.co.uk/uk-company-formation.php.
On the menu bar, click company incorporation. As shown in the image below, you will be prompted to choose a country where you look to establish your company.
After clicking on the UK option, you will land on the UK company formation page, you will find a search bar where you can enter your company name to check if it is available as shown in the image below.
On the same page, there is a button after a small description ‘ Apply Now’. when you click on it, it will direct you to the company formation packages.
On the same page, there are also two company formation packages. One is for incorporating a UK company with your address, and the other is for incorporating a UK company with our address, as shown in the image below.
Click on proceed to get the package that suits your business needs. If you click on the package to incorporate your company with one of our addresses, you will be directed to our virtual office page where you will choose the address that you would like to register your company as shown in the image below.
If you click on the first option of using our Privacy Package, virtual office packages will pop up for you to choose a package that suits your business needs then click next as shown in the image below.
‘Click To See More’ to know the feature the package comes with before choosing the one that suits your business needs.
Once you see the package with features that suit your business, click ‘ Select’ below the package then click Next. In this guide, we will click on the Silver Package.
You will be taken to a 2-minute virtual office booking form. As shown in the image below, fill out the required information, such as the payment frequency and the address you want for your business then click Next.
Fill in all the fields that Icon Offices will help you with. The first option is;
a) to incorporate a UK Ltd company for you now for only £93.99 including Companies House fees.
b) you do not want to form the company because you do not need one, or you have one, or you will incorporate it later, or you will incorporate it yourself.
c) this option is available to clients who chose the Gold or Platinum packages with free incorporation.
In this guide, we will choose option A and then click Next.
In this step, you will provide details of the Authorised Virtual Office Account Handler such as name, address, and email address as shown in the image below. Ensure you fill out a valid email address to be verified.
A one-time passcode will be sent to your email address, fill it out in the ‘ Verify OTP’ field then verify it as shown in the image below.
Once the OTP is verified, the button will turn green and change from ‘ Resend OTP’ to ‘Verified’ as shown in the image below then click Next.
Fill out the business owner’s or directors' details such as name and email address as shown in the image below.
Click ‘Additional Directors’ if you have more than one director to add their details.
Fill out your company details such as its name, structure, and business activities as shown in the image below.
Once you click Next, you will be directed to the next page where you can choose additional services as shown in the image below.
We have partnered with various banks such as Barclays, Tide, Revolut, WorldFirst, Monzo, and Anna. If you open a business bank account with any of these banks, you will get a cash gift of up to £250. In this guide, we will select Tide Bank. Ensure you make a selection in each bank either you want to be referred or you do not want the cash gift for the tab to move to the next step.
This is the final step, check out. All the services you choose will be detailed with their prices. If there was a service you needed but forgot to add, you can click ‘Add Service’ at the checkout area as shown in the image below to add it.
If you have a promotional code, this is the time to use it to save some coins. Your total will be detailed and conversed to your currency. Complete the Captcha to confirm that you are not a robot, read terms and conditions and click on the box as shown in the image below then click ‘ Pay Now’.
Confirm your payment method then submit payment for your order to be processed.
If you proceed with the second package for incorporating your company using your address, you will be directed to a page where you must choose the address you want to register your company with. Choose the second option which states that you want to use your address, then click next and you will be directed to the application form page as shown in the image below.
To proceed with the application form, you must read and understand the guidelines. If you don’t have directors who are not shareholders, shareholders who are not directors, and shareholders who own 25% or less of the company, you will have to contact us to give you a separate form to fill out as shown in the image below.
Step 1
If your company meets the above statements, you can proceed to the quick application form and fill out your company details, starting with the name of your company, then the company ending i.e. ‘Limited’ or ‘Ltd’ to be added to your company name, and the business activity as shown in the image below.
Step 2
Enter the registered address and email address for your company as shown in the image below. The address will be visible for the public to see on HMRC, Companies House, and various third-party websites. If you do not want your address to be made public then you can always go back and choose one of our virtual office addresses for your company.
Step 3
Enter the director’s details including their name, date of birth, nationality, residential and email address, and contact details. You can have multiple company directors; after adding the details of the first director, you can add the second director's details by clicking the “add director” button.
Step 4
Answer security questions as shown in the image below. The security questions are required by Companies House for security purposes.

Choose your payment method as shown in the image below.

To check the ID requirements for all directors and shareholders, you can click where it says ‘Click here for more information’ as shown in the image below.
You will be directed to the ID page where we have listed documents we need for the director or owner of the Business as shown in the image below. All ID documents can be uploaded in the client login area after you sign up.
In the event that we will be speaking to someone other than the director, also known as an ‘Authorised person', we will need an authorisation letter authorising us to deal with the Account Handler signed by the director.
